S-Bahn fejlesztések Münchenben Bajorország fővárosa, München kiterjedt elővárosi vasúthálózattal (S-Bahn) rendelkezik. A több irányból érkező vonalak az úgynevezett "Stammstrecke" (törzsvonal) szakaszon hosszasan fonódnak, több helyen is kényelmes átszállást biztosítva.
